Artist and composer Sylvano Busotti brings polymorphous sexuality to music. His homoerotic song cycle Pièces de chair II (1958-60) and La passion selon Sade (1964) attack formalism, sometimes through drawings that challenge standard notation and linearity. Busotti tangles symbolic seductions in expressions of sensuality. In itself, his work is wonderful, 'dangerous' stuff. |
