I love Brian Wilson's compositions and arrangements for the Beach Boys. In these songs he often changes keys unexpectedly and has an extraordinary flair for interesting song forms, beautiful harmony and counterpoint. I learned much from the way he designs and produces his mixes. Favourite songs include Wouldn't It be Nice (1966), God Only Knows (1968), Don't Talk (Put Your Head on my Shoulder) (1966) and Good Vibrations (1968).
